Elevated State VT

Established in 2017, Elevated State VT began as a simple hemp-growing project to support our friend’s child. Her 2 1/2 year old was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of brain cancer with a very poor prognosis. As any mama-bear would, her mother searched far and wide for all possible ways to keep her child alive. Medical marijuana was added to her treatment not only to address pain and loss of appetite, but also for its many cancer fighting properties and to combat the ravages of radiation therapies.

Erik, the founder of Elevated State began a two year project to research and develop additional supports for this amazing little girl. With costs unmanageable, and options limited, he decided to grow high CBD hemp on his wife’s grandfather’s blueberry farm to supplement the treatment.

Fortunately, this story ends well and our little friend is healthy and happy for years to come!

As you can see, even gramps got into the groove. Walt Zuber, a local dentist and blueberry farmer, was a supporter of the benefits of hemp for over 50 years. Walt referred to hemp as “the most industrious plant,” and that was long before CBD was even cool! He saw, and received the benefits of the hemp grown amidst the blueberries up in Stowe Hollow.
