Our name, Ajoya, is a combination of the Esperanto word “goja” (joyful), and the Yoruba word “ajoyo” (celebration). We believe in letting joy in, and reflecting joy outward. We want to celebrate you and the diverse, beautiful world around us.

The Ajoya seed was planted in 2009 as a medical dispensary. In 2014, recreational cannabis became legal in Colorado. The expanded reach created a need for new kinds of cannabis experience. Thus, a beautiful store came to life. By creating a new kind of retail experience, Ajoya can welcome new kinds of customers and provide a fresh experience for seasoned cannabis shoppers.

The space provides the container. Inside the container, we focus on gold standard customer service. Our staff is well trained, kind, and compassionate. They aim to share their passion for cannabis with Ajoya customers.
