The Spa at Inverness

The elegant spa inside the Hilton Denver Inverness probably isn’t somewhere you would expect to see a cannabis-influenced massage. This hotel is located right near the Park Meadows Mall in south Denver, and the 4,500-square-foot spa is an oasis of tranquility in the city.

In 2017, it began offering a massage with CBD oil. Try it with a body exfoliation first, to really prime the skin.

The Hilton uses Colorado-made CBD Care Garden Products, which claims to be the first luxury skin care line to make THC-free, CBD-rich, plant-based products. CBD Care Garden opened in Denver in 2016. It calls CBD beauty products “one of the hottest trends.”

Most ingredients are organic. A popular product is the Melt Body Butter made with pure hemp cannabidiol, green tea stem cells, CloudBerry, coconut oil, argan oil, avocado oil, shea butter, and coconut oil.

Add the CBD products to any regular massage; the spa offers 50- and 80-minute treatments featuring relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue and couples massages.

The CBD massage is not listed on the spa’s menu online, but it’s advertised as soon as you walk in the lobby. NOTE: These spa treatments are typically done using CBD oil or lotion, which is not psychoactive
